Sorority Rush Week- a yearly event at the University of Illinois where several thousand 18 and 19 year old babes compete with each other to "pledge" the campus' best and most popular sororities. Getting into the right house means getting the right dates, the right husband, and the right career.

The competition is fierce, and the sororities narrow down their list of candidates by the end of Rush Week. That is when "Hell Week" starts, a series of hazing and initiations where the young lady must do as she is told to prove her allegiance to the sorority. If she can endure the humiliation and danger of Hell Week, she will be asked to join the sorority. My now wife was the Pledgemaster for the class of 1998. She was rough on her pledges- and she kept photographs to prove it!
